Answer the expected questions in the interwview

1. Tell me about yourself


Yes, I am Sam who is majoring control engineering. Let me talk briefly about myself.

First, I like exercise and I am physically healthy. I regularly work out squash, scuba, soccer, swimming and so on.

Secondly, I enjoy reading beacause I am interested in various things. There are club experience called a Giant's library, Myochack. 

Finally, I like to acquire new knowledge and skills. Currently, we are in the process of developing device using bio-technology secuiry systems. The first goal is to make a good product and win the prize of the company.


2. What are your strengths?

First, I enjoy convsersation. I have met many people through exchange students, volunteer group and travel experiences during my unversity life. I knew about the pleasure of talking with people.

Next, I can learn new knowledge quickly. I studied liberal arts in high school. After considering my aptitude and carrer, I chose mechanical engineering as my major. In the meantime, it was difficult to understand math and physics knowledge. However, recently I started to study one step further. I am learning about the technologies that companies use recently..


3. What are your weaknesses?

I can not speak well in front of many people.


4. Talk about project-related experiences.

The project of measuring engineer corresponding to No.3

It combines a geomagnetic sensors and a gyro sensor to control moving objects.

First, attach two or more sensors to one object. And I can get 6 degrees of freedom data from the sensor.

Translational and rotational movements corresponding to x,y, and z axes

And we do mathematical modeling through that data. We can use the function to control the movement.


Project number No. 4

Poeple create and memorize passwords by combining numbers, lettrs and special characters. However, these passwords have the inconvenience of memorization and the risk of hacking. To solve this inconvenience, we use biometric information to protect consumer's devices.

Many techniques are applied to face reconition technology. In signal engineering takes 2D data from the ccd sensor and digitlally processes it. And then manage that data by using various method. 

We are measuring the accuracy of many existing algorithms. We are also researching ways to improve the accuracy of algorithms. A common problem with algorithms is that their recognition rate decrases with angle and lighting.


5. What is being prepared most actively recently?
I am currently using the time to prepare for a contest and a programming cometition in June.
